The other pain is a short film in the context of the module “Independent Project” and it is a work in progress. It’s a symbolic story about Female Genital Mutilation. An allegory of the psychosomatic trauma, a trauma that make thousands of girls around the world feel a gap in their body that cannot be filled with anything. This short film tries to touch and depict the intervention and abuse of the human body, through the violation and violence of the natural matter.
