Following an emergency branch meeting on 10 Nov 2022 it was decided that:

  • York St John picket lines will happen on 24th, 25th and 30th November between 8am and 11am. 

  • We will focus our efforts on the Lord Mayors Walk entrance (closest to Foss) and Clarence Street. 

  • All official pickets must wear an identification arm band, available from a member of the committee on each day of the strike.

  • Members are not obligated to inform students of forthcoming disruption but may choose to if they wish. YSJ Students Union intends to notify all students in advance of the action.

We are able to influence positive change when we stand together as a local branch.
