Last Friday the 15th of February, was the first introductory session for our Grad2Director and Grad2Freelancer programmes. Our students had the opportunity through a very fruitful session to meet and talk with Dr John Park about their business ideas and how to accomplish them.
John brings nearly 30 years of experience developing new products and services in two of the world’s largest corporations, Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo International. He has also run university-wide business start-up programmes at the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and the EU Funded Enterprising Worcestershire Summer Startup Bootcamps at the University of Worcester.
The Grad2Director programme has been developed in partnership between York St John University, and Dr John Park, an international expert in product and service innovation. The programme is entirely free and flexible and this proven method established over ten new businesses at YSJ last year that have gone onto achieve great success in their first year including winning awards and gaining funding and partnerships with external organisations.
Here at York Business School, we feel proud for our students and we are trying our best to support them from the first year of their studies to their first steps as directors of their own company.
