Friday 8th of March is the International Women’s Day. It is a focal point in the movement for women’s rights. To celebrate this day and the launch of We Are YSJ Women, our new staff and student network, we will run an event-trail to discover and embrace the stories of YSJ women who shaped our University’s history. We will also showcase current staff and student making their mark on our community.
This event-trail will take place on Friday 8 March and is open to everyone. Begins with the past in Fountains library, continues to the present in the Student’s Union and ends with the future in Holgate.
We Are YSJ Women is a movement to empower and support all self-identifying women at York St John University and in the wider community of York to realise their potential, celebrate their success and proactively challenge gender inequality
