Grad2Director

Do you have an idea for a business? Need help to turn it into reality? Maybe you’re freelancing or working for yourself since graduating and could do with expert, specialist support or the chance to get up to £400 to launch your future career?

At York St John University we’re serious about supporting you for life.

Our Grad2Director initiative is designed to help all 2018 graduates access a free, engaging and expert-led programme to give you all the support you need to take those important next steps. Last year our Grad2Director programme funded and supported the start-up of over 10 new businesses – many of which have gone to achieve great success in their first year.

Grad2Director has been developed in partnership with Dr John Park, an international expert in product and service innovation with extensive experience of helping people turn their fantastic ideas into flourishing businesses. This tried and tested global programme will be available to provide both online and face-to-face coaching opportunities to take you step-by-step through the stages of planning, testing and implementing your business ideas.

This is an opportunity for York St John University graduates only and is funded for a limited period of time as part of our commitment to supporting you for life.

The free programme includes:

  • An interactive, online course
  • Optional face to face coaching sessions
  • Workshops at York St John University to develop your ideas
  • Opportunities to receive seed funding of up to £400
  • Opportunities to access start-up funding for incorporating your company

The Grad2Director programme is flexible enough to fit around your lifestyle, work commitments and location.

Find out more at www.yorksj.ac.uk/grad2director and register online before January 30th 2019 to access this time-limited opportunity for free. If you’d like to arrange a conversation to discuss your options in more detail, email us at grad2director@yorksj.ac.uk.
