Follow the Fascination: Researchers in Residence Opportunity.
Theatre Hullabaloo is a pioneering organisation that that makes, tours and promotes theatre for young audiences (aged 0-16 years old). Based in Darlington they work with working class and other disadvantaged communities to ensure that all children have the right to art. In 2023, Theatre Hullabaloo have received £84,000 in Arts Council England funding to launch a new 3-year partnership with the Institute for Social Justice.
As part of this we are inviting expressions of interest from YSJ academics and PGRs interested in undertaking a funded researcher in residency with Theatre Hullabaloo. This will include £10,000 in funding and can be from any discipline for a project engaging in creativity, young people/families and social justice. The first researcher in residence will take place in autumn 2023, with anticipated further opportunities in 2024 and 2025.
