LGBTQ+ Network – Next Coffee Morning and Pride 2023
Coffee Morning (Friday 28th April 10-11am, Dining Room Extension)
Our next coffee morning will be taking place next Friday 10-11am in the Dining Room Extension. As well as the LGBTQ+ Staff Network, we have invited representatives from our other staff networks (BAME, Women, Neurodivergent, Parent and Disabled), UCU, UNISON, the Chaplaincy, and our Wellbeing Champions to attend. This will be an excellent opportunity to find out more about the support on offer for all staff members and meet members of the different networks. Grab a coffee from the canteen and come and have a chat! All are welcome.
YSJ York Pride Coordinator: Call for expressions of interest
York Pride is coming back on 3rd June 2023! York St John is a main sponsor and the YSJ LGBTQ+ community is organising our presence.
We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague or postgraduate researcher to coordinate our entry in the parade and the stall, in collaboration with the staff network and the LGBTQ+ students society.
You would have the support from colleagues, and you will have a small budget to spend on materials.
Important information
- You need to be available on Saturday 3rd June, the day of York Pride
- 12 hours (approximately), to be used flexibly in the run-up to York Pride.
- This would be a voluntary role, but we would welcome role sharing if you feel this would be too much of a commitment for you.
