Development of an electronic version of the Activity Card Sort – United Kingdom version (ACS-UK)
Project Leads: Alison Laver-Fawcett and Mike O’Dea
Student as Researcher: Matthew Moore
The ACS-UK is a self-reporting therapy assessment that helps determine levels of activity and participation in activities and if this reflects their illness or disability. This helps occupational therapists for rehabilitation plans or activities in care-homes. A few countries have adapted this assessment into a computer-based format and Matthew Moore will be helping Mike O’Dea to develop an electronic version of the ACS-UK. Making it easier to utilise and collate data. This will hopefully make it much easier for occupational therapists on their analysis and reports.
The new electronic version will be pilot tested and hopefully will become a beneficial tool used for occupational therapists.
