Induction

All new Students as Researchers are invited to an induction. This is usually a 2 hour session, hosted by the Academic Development Coordinators. It is a chance for new Student Researchers to meet their peers and previous student researchers, hear more about the Scheme and ask any questions. You will also be informed on how time sheets work, what is expected of you as a student researcher and you’ll get a free lunch if you attend!

The induction will take place on the 25th of January at 11am in SK/128. The induction is two hours long and includes a free lunch!

In the session we will go over what the role entails, the types of obstacles you may face (or already have as some of you have already begun research), and financial information. This is also a great opportunity to meet fellow student as researchers and see the other projects taking place within the university.

You are expected to attend the induction, it will show positive engagement and it can be something to write about at your end of project reflection, which you will have to do as a student researchers.

If you have any questions, or will be unable to attend, please let ADDknow beforehand. We look forward to seeing you there
