This project involves the already established link between York St John and York Explore when History students were dong their work placements. They began to compile the catalogue for the York Civil Defence Records; the records aims to consider how York planned to act in case of a nuclear attack during the early Cold War period, this project will consider the issue from a local perspective. Penelope Hodgson will be examining relevant records and be involved in the writing-up process with Robert Barnes.
