This task required both collaborative and individual work; the shoots themselves being carried out in  a two man team (due to the amount of equipment), but the topic of each shoot and all of the subsequent image selection and editing were individual tasks. The original story planning requirement for this task was challenging as a Cine Roman is not a commonly known medium and this was the first time that I had come across it, the idea was quite confusing at first and so I went for a very simple story progression. Due to the nature of the interviewee's story, he wished for his identity to be kept a secret, so as to maintain his own privacy and that of his family. This ethical issue required extra planning and forethought in terms of how we would go about providing a similar product to one where the subject is not anonymous. In order to do this my group opted to use background lighting to set the tone of the footage due to the fact that the viewer would be missing out on the facial expressions that would have otherwise provided some form of tone. Effectively, this piece being placed on YouTube as well as being a group task that was carried out with correctly completed risk assessments, it should fulfil parts of the criteria of all three of the learning objectives set out for this module. During the creation and production of this group studio segment my role was to operate sound in the studio and on the VT's.
