It’s me in my brand new suit in central London. Making my way up to the 7th floor after getting promoted from a Business Development Representative to Account Executive after a year of non stop cold calling.
What are your fondest memories of York St John University?
The night life, late nights with friends and laughing with them in the house.
Why did you choose York St John University or founder colleges?
Leave my small town, broaden my horizons and see where it takes me. I don’t regret it one bit.
What have you been doing since completing your studies?
I work for Oracle NetSuite in the City of London.
Business Management degrees are pretty common amongst the sales team there and it gives you a solid foundation when speaking to CEOs and CFOs.
What one piece of advice would you give to a current student, or one about to graduate?
Write down your goals, be curious, go into everything with wide eyes ready to seize opportunity.
Victim mentalities get you nowhere.
