Presenting to the rest of the company during the 2023 Xmas do. A particular moment of light-heartedness amongst seriousness of intent.
WHAT ARE YOUR FONDEST MEMORIES OF YORK ST JOHN UNIVERSITY?
The location, people and the time to focus on music. I still get to enjoy all 3 now, but not to the same degree of consistency.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YORK ST JOHN UNIVERSIRT OR FOUNDER COLLEGES?
I liked the potential of the course, (which lived up to it). It also came recommended by Barnsley College.
WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING SINCE COMPLETING YOUR STUDIES?
Full time position at PitStop Productions. I went from a freelance VO editor, to leading the VO Post Production Team, then heading over to our Sound Design department as a project manager.
WHAT ONE PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO A CURRENT STUDENT, OR ONE ABOUT TO GRADUATE?
Be authentic. Take opportunities as they fall, but don’t push too much. Be honest and authentic and you’ll become someone who’s thoughts and opinions are valued highly in a professional environment.
