£8.9 million invested in sports facilities
Happy New Year again to all our alumni! If you’ve been trying to keep up with our 12 days of Christmas, and have been sticking to the tune of the traditional 12 days of Christmas song along the way, then this is where you’re going to start to struggle I’m afraid, sorry!
The recent investment of £8.9 million into sports facilities at York St John University has helped develop a site that will not only benefit current and future students, but also the wider community.
The 57-acre facility off Haxby Road (about 20 minutes walk from the main campus) includes a multi-use 3G pitch, tennis courts, an indoor sports hall, state of the art gym, as well as new conference and teaching space, which was completed in 2016.
Did you know, The site was officially opened by former international football referee Howard Webb MBE in 2015
