You may have seen us posting religiously on social media about Jobs & Opportunities, but seriously we can’t stress enough how GREAT this new platform is (we’re not biased at all)! Sign up, download the app, find the job for you – it’s as easy as that!

Jobs

Everything you need is one place! Graduate Jobs, Internships, Part time Jobs, Volunteering Opportunities, Placement years – you name it, it’s on there.

You can filter the type of job you would like by clicking ‘tag’ then selecting what job/ opportunity you are looking for. You can also filter the job type by location, company size, industry, start date, duration and experience!

 

We update the site daily so there are new Jobs and Opportunities uploaded every day – don’t miss them!

Appointments

We also have an appointment booking system on our Jobs and Opportunities site so if you need any advice regarding careers you can come and see us. Furthermore, if you’re worrying about what to do after University, want your CV checking or even a mock interview you can book an appointment and we can advise you on the options available for you! You can book one here.

We have several appointment types:

1. Mock Interview 1:1 (30 mins) – Where you can have a practice mock interview before you have your real job interview or even if you just want to practice for the future.
2. Quick Query (15 mins) – Ideal for finding answers to one or two short queries or beginning to discuss what Careers support would be helpful to you if you have not used the service before.
3. General Careers Appointment (30 mins) – These appointments are great if you want to ask any questions or if you need advice about anything careers based. We strongly encourage you to bring a pen and paper to these appointments for making notes.
4. Document check (15 mins) – These slots are designed to check the formatting of CVs, personal statements and cover letters, as well as offering advice on how to tailor these documents to specific opportunities. Please bring a printed copy of the document to your appointment.

Events

We even advertise our events on Jobs and Opportunities, so you can check out what events we have for you! You can favourite events to save them, or you can register with an event which means that you will receive email updates to remind you about the event.

We currently have a Part Time Jobs fair, a Graduate and Work Placement fair and a Volunteering fair up on our site (but keep an eye on the events page as we will be putting up more events for you soon). You can access our events page here.

Companies

On the site, you can follow certain companies which means that the jobs that they post will appear first on your dashboard. It also enables you to browse job vacancies just from that company. If the company does not currently have any vacancies, you can read what the company is about, so you are prepared for when they do upload a job!

APP

You can access the site here or you can even download the app ‘JobTeaser’, browse jobs and make appointments directly from your phone.

We’ll be updating our social media regularly with our top picks, but there are so many jobs, internships, graduate jobs, volunteering opportunities and graduate schemes that go unnoticed. It’s worth exploring the site on your own to discover the right job for you!
