During this session, you will be supported to explore the key principles behind maximising success within the recruitment process and build your confidence with securing professional opportunities, linked to your own version of success for the future. This is a precursor to the ‘Interviewing for professional opportunities’ session on 19th June. 

Learning outcomes

By the end of the session, you will be able to:

• Recognise the key features of a high-quality application, including CVs, cover letters, online application form and supporting statement​
• ​Describe the importance of and where to find out information to increase commercial awareness​
• ​Explore how key skills, strengths and attributes required can be impactfully evidenced using life, study and work experiences throughout the recruitment process
