Effective Research Grant Writing with Dr Lisa Hill

April 26 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Dr Lisa Hill
This half day, in-person workshop will provide structured research grant writing advice and support for a small group of participants.

It is ideally suited to: researchers who are preparing to apply for research grant funding, researchers who are in the process of developing their application, and researchers who have recently been unsuccessful in applying for a research grant and want to apply again.

Designed as an interactive session, during which participants actively develop their ideas and even draft text, the emphasis is on learning-by-doing, with opportunities for group feedback and peer-to-peer learning, as well as 1-2-1 support from external facilitator and trainer Dr Lisa Hill.

By the end of the workshop, participants will:
●      Answer key questions to help them develop their idea(s)
●      Understand how to structure their research grant application
●      Have a draft vision statement and introduction to their research grant application
●      Identify next steps and develop a personal action plan

The workshop can be tailored to cover any or all aspects of pre- or post-application advice and support, and can be tailored to suit audience needs. Applicants should therefore complete and return the pre-workshop questionnaire below to register interest in attending this event. Places are strictly limited.
