EDI and your research: valuing diversity and inclusion
The research environment is becoming increasingly diverse which is really good news, but inclusion and accessibility don’t happen by chance. So how can you consciously contribute to a positive research environment for everyone? To help you on your way, this short course will provide an introduction to equality, diversity and inclusion.
By the end of the session, you will:
- Be aware of basic Equality Act concepts
- Have some understanding of bias and how it impacts on your behaviour
- Have developed some practical steps to build a positive research environment
This session will take place on campus in room HG/139 (Holgate building, first floor). To book your place, please click here.
