Part of the CPD research programme 2023-24.
Open Access (OA) offers free and unrestricted access to research outputs. Anyone can read, download and reuse research (subject to any licence restrictions). You can choose to publish your own research so that it is OA.
This session is an introduction to the different types of OA and its impact on research. It will cover the University’s Open Access Policy and REF and Open Access.
The session will be presented by Megan Kilvington, Copyright, Licensing & Research Librarian and Ruth Mardall, Repository Librarian. This session is intended for academic staff; however, PGRs may also attend, particularly if they are working towards publishing their research.
