So following on from my waffle about SODAs here is a mini waffle to start your day

This SODA is based on the idea that the children wake up and something has appeared or disappeared in their room. This might be something appearing there – for example a box? a hole? or even an alien sat on the bottom of the bed. Or something not being there – for example the furniture? the door? or even the floor! In order to support the children in thinking about the situation you might want to include questions such as – where has it come from? where has it gone? why has it happened and finally, what are you going to do about it? Remember they can record their thoughts in any way they want and if you complete this in class, let me know and we can add their responses in the comments.
