Information in the Curriculum is a place for staff at York St John University to,
- find out more about the models and theories of information use and evaluation (information literacy),
- discuss these models and theories with a view to using them in your teaching,
- share best practice, lesson plans and ideas for integrating.
Those with responsibility for induction/transition modules, or those with study and research skills incorporated into aims and outcomes, will find ideas from across the University and be able to discuss their own needs and experiences. It is hoped that this resource will grow and help those running or teaching on modules which incorporate reflection and evidence-based practice.
It is facilitated by Clare McCluskey Dean, an Academic Liaison Librarian in Library & Learning Services, in the Directorate of Student Life.
