The third artefact was the photography task were the brief was to create six separate shots to fit the briefs requirements. I chose the theme nature, so my main target was to make sure that the photos fit clearly fit that theme. The concepts I tried to achieve with this task was to make sure the photo didn’t need an explanation and suits the concept (Mayer,2017). For example, with the shallow depth of field I made to sure to have the flower as the most dominate feature in the photo and have the rest of the background defocused.

A problem I encountered with this task was being able to get the different shots such as the silhouette photo, this was difficult since my planned shooting time was during the day so being able to get the correct lighting was difficult. However, to I overcame this problem by using what I learnt on Photoshop by being able to change the curves to enhance different parts of the photo to help get the concept across.
