The Holiday Calendar is a brand-new original Netflix film that has been brought out for Christmas. It is based on a big family air loom that is a gigantic calendar for the 25 days of Christmas, for each day of the month up until Christmas a box opens and tells her future for that day until unexpected things start to happen. 

Kat Graham who plays the role of a young woman who does not enjoy her job; ‘Abby Sutton’,  ‘I’ve been too scared to leave my crappy job, I want to be fearless enough to go after my dreams’ has the role of being the one to receive The Holiday Calendar, Graham’s role in this film is to be a character of an artistic sort, her life isn’t the best, but it comes to the holidays and everything changes for the better. 

The Holiday Calendar shows how magical Christmas can truly be, it can bring your wildest wishes come true just by watching it. It makes you feel as if anything can happen at the most magical time of the year, in the film Ron Cephus Jones has the role of ‘Gramps’, one of his lines is; ‘your grandmother was convinced of its magical powers, she said it brought her to me’. Meaning the calendar is magical and that Christmas is the most magical and wonderful time of year. Christmas is about family, and with this warm and lovely Christmas film, it will definitely be a warm, family Christmas with love in the air. 

It is a typical Christmas/romantic film when the guy gets the girl but it’s a nice festive movie to snuggle up on the couch with a hot chocolate and the fire on. This film is to satisfy anyone’s love for holiday trouble and ‘cringey’ romance.
