I had multiple ideas of someone interacting with the piece, this small comic being one of them. I thought it could be a cute story with small anthropomorphic mice. I decided to use a black and white colour scheme for the main part of the story due to it being mentioned in past tense by the mother reading the story, the one page that shows their present day being full colour. I like how the characters turned out, mostly curved and loose to imitate a lot of art within children’s books. I decided to leave out any dialog throughout the comic to challenge myself to show what is going on instead of telling. I wish I could have worked on my colours more but never the less, I do still enjoy the final product.
