The Leeds Salon have been in touch to announce that Joanna Williams, journalist, academic, and author of Women vs Feminism and Academic Freedom in an Age of Conformity will be introducing her book and face questions and comments from a critical panel:

 

  • Sally Hines, Professor of Sociology & Gender Identities, University of Leeds, and author of Gender Diversity, Recognition and Citizenship.

 

  • Valerie Bryson, Professor Emerita of Politics, University of Huddersfield, and author of Feminist Political Theory, and Gender and the Politics of Time.

shakespeare week: the words matter team reveal their shakespearean favourites

This week is Shakespeare Week, a national annual celebration designed to give primary school children opportunities for enriching and engaging encounters with the bard. all about respect
