Mosa & Georgina, two Volunteer Coordinators from Leeds Young Film Festival 2018 have been in touch to announce that they are currently recruiting volunteers to help with the UK’s largest family film event. The festival will be running from Friday 30th March – Monday 2nd April.
Now in its 19th year, the festival features a programme of the best new and unseen cinema for young people from around the world, made both for and by young people, as well as classic screenings, moving-image related workshops and masterclasses.
Leeds Young Film Festival will present the following over Easter weekend 2018 (Friday 30th March – Monday 2nd April):
Animation Central at Carriageworks Theatre will be home to four days of animation and digital storytelling, with films, masterclasses and workshops.
- A must attend Easter experience in the City Centre
- Virtual Reality Zone in Leeds City Museum and The Carriageworks which will include a variety of family focused VR experiences
We need a range of dedicated volunteers to help in a variety of roles in this exciting event. If you are interested please complete this form by Sunday 11th March by 17:00 and then email a passport style photograph (a head and shoulders picture of yourself) to lyffvolunteers@gmail.com. We require the photograph for accreditation purposes as we are a child safe festival.
You will hear from us about the status of your application by Tuesday 13th March. The volunteer induction session is on Monday 19th March, which you MUST attend in order to volunteer.
