York St John University Literature graduate Holly Beson-Tams has gotten in touch to tell us about a new music magazine that she has founded, and to offer an exciting opportunity to current students.
Holly writes:
“Denim + Leather Magazine is an independant music magazine, blog and promotion company that focuses on shining a light on up and coming bands across the country. We review EPs/singles/vidoes and also interview a lot of bands. I currently have 4 freelance writers writing for me, all of whom have never had any experience in music journalism before. We are looking to see if we can gain some more writers to expand our team! We are a friendly and weird little bunch who are all passionate about music, and specifically local music! We’re about to publish Issue no.4 which will feature an interview with Wolf Alice, our biggest name yet!
