Thank you to the York Youth Council and York Children in Care for letting us know about this important survey.
York is the first city in the UK to become a Human Rights City. In York, the Human Rights City has produced an indicator report based on the human rights that residents have said are important to them.
The Youth Council and Children in Care Council have been working together with the Human Rights City because we think there should also be an indicator report based on the human rights that young people feel are important. In order to do this, we are seeking the views of as many young people as possible between the ages of 11-25, and we’d really like your help.
We have put together a short survey asking young people to tell us which 5 human rights they feel are the most important. This information will inform which 5 indicators we focus on in the young person’s version of the indicator report.
The link to the survey is https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/VCWD7PF
The survey will be open until October half term so we would like to ask if your service can share this survey with young people and provide an opportunity for young people to complete it if they’d like to.
Many thanks
