Frameworks for inclusion


York St John University has a reputation for being inclusive and this has been ratified through our corporate strategy for many years. Therefore, we have developed a framework for staff to benchmark their practice against and to act as a development tool to improve upon and identify existing inclusive practice. The framework was designed in collaboration with staff from across the university and amended through feedback from programme staff.

 

We believe we have developed a framework which achieves a balance between identifying existing practice and the need for development in this area. However, other examples of checklists/enhancement tools exist within the sector:
