The sources for this story came from 3 students that attend the same University of York St John. I posted into a group page on Facebook for the university asking if any students would be up for sharing their experience with me and if they wouldn’t mind being interviewed/ recorded.

I only had 2 girls respond but they stated that they wouldn’t like to be video recorded but they did not mind being audio recorded. This meant that i would have to gain video footage from elsewhere to watch whilst listening to the audio. I decided that I would take videos around uni and of York itself (I already had some York footage from summer time due to a previous piece of work I had done from Sixth Form), to give the audience an idea of what living in York and going to St John uni is like. One of the girls then offered her accommodation to be videoed   which was another piece I could include.

Once I started to edit altogether, I decided to include myself in the video and my experience that I’ve had due ti the topic behind this being quite close to my heart.
