This picture makes me feel so enthusiastic because:
- I had just received the email I was awarded the prize as the best student in the MBA programs for that cohort.
- I had been published in an Academic Journal.

WHAT ARE YOUR FONDEST MEMORIES OF YORK ST JOHN UNIVERSITY?
Studying from home had us missing casual banter with classmates, with only digital hellos through WhatsApp. So, I roped in two pals from London to form a mini-study group. As final submission dates neared, our casual meets turned into frantic brainstorming sessions. Panic was an unwanted guest. We decided to jazz things up by playing roles – one as the “coach” and the other as the “coachee.” This act shook off the tension and anxiety. Now, it was about amusingly mocking the “coach’s” solutions while serious doubt-solving took a backstage. It was hilarious yet it got the job done. A blockbuster experience.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE YORK ST JOHN UNIVERSITY OR FOUNDER COLLEGES?
I was looking for a postgraduate program – MBA, but different from the classic one and at a reasonable price.
The portfolio offered included what I was looking for.
WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING SINCE COMPLETING YOUR STUDIES?
My journey at YSJU during the MBA program made me realise the significance of critical analysis and thinking, especially when tackling challenging scenarios. Reflecting on these situations significantly enhanced my learning. Receiving distinctions on all my assignments and the dissertation boosted my self-assurance in writing and conducting research. This spurred me to elevate my personal brand, eventually gaining recognition as a thought leader on THINKERS360 in various fields like Business Continuity, Robotic Process Automation, Culture, and Management.
WHAT ONE PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO A CURRENT STUDENT, OR ONE ABOUT TO GRADUATE?
What I can say?
- do not plan a career being rigid: a loose vision allows you to discover unexpected opportunities and possibilities.
This mindset enables you to adapt and explore instead of limiting yourself to pre-defined paths. - think about 1. where you can learn and 2. where you can move further horizontally and then vertically systematic view and holistic approaches are those that will become gold)
- develop a grown mindset and become a lifelong learner. Find your way with:
- USEFUL certifications, postgraduate programs, self-study.
