Many of you will have noticed that Mahara, our e-portfolio system, has a new look and feel.
Over the summer, we commissioned Bas (@BasBrands) to design a number of new themes aimed at bringing Mahara in line with our Moodle interface. We now have four brand new themes to choose from: Leaf, Leaf Play, Leaf Warm and Leaf Corp.
No changes were made to Mahara’s navigation, features or labelling, so any screenshots or instructions will still be accurate (although we recommend advising students that text and links will be a different colour).
We have selected “Leaf Play” for now, but we’d love to hear some feedback.
What do you think of the new theme? How does it compare with the old look? Would you prefer one of the other themes from the slideshow above?

We (in Languages) like it! We noticed it had changed, and like the clarity and ‘friendly’ feel of the font. Not much else to add as we haven’t played with it much yet!
