It’s World Meditation Day!

Do you have a regular daily practice, dip in and out of meditation, or are a complete beginner?

There are lots of benefits of meditating to encourage you to get started, and remind you why to keep going. From reducing anxiety and stress, reducing physical discomfort, boosting your immune system, lowering blood pressure, relieving depression, and it can increase creative thinking and productivity!

Whether you do 5 minutes in the morning to start your day or carve out 45 minutes, there are various ways you can meditate and countless resources out there to help you. You can use the simple act of just focusing on your breathing, watch or listen to guided meditations or music on sites such as YouTube, or even use free apps such as Insight Timer which has thousands of meditations to try ranging from different lengths (which helps if you’re a beginner or don’t have much time!), and topics – whether you need to focus on relieving stress or sleeping better, to emotional healing or self-acceptance.

We would love to know how you meditate and what you enjoy!
