aesthetica creative writing award: call for entries

Thank you to Cassandra Weston from Aesthetica Magazine for getting in touch to announce that entries are now open for the Creative Writing Award.

Celebrating excellence in Poetry and Short Fiction, the Aesthetica Creative Writing Award, supports and nurtures new writing talent, providing a platform for writers to showcase their work to international audiences. The renowned literary prize also presents students with an opportunity to further their involvement in the Literary world in preparation for their graduate careers.

The Prize awards publication within an inspiring anthology to a shortlist of 60 writers, including a winner from both the Poetry and Short Fiction categories, in addition to a £1,000 cash prize, consultations with literary agency Redhammer Management, a Full Membership to The Poetry Society, subscriptions to Granta and books courtesy of Vintage and Bloodaxe Books.

Students are a huge part of what makes the Creative Writing Award so enriching and successful, with opportunities to develop critical thinking, creative practice and generate academic discussion.

Please note that submissions for the Creative Writing Award close 31 August 2018.
