Which book will be the focus of York St John’s second Big Summer Read? You decide!
Last year the inaugural York St John University Big Summer Read focused on Colm Tóibín’s novella The Testament of Mary. This year we’re inviting students to choose between four books:
- Gwendoline Riley, ‘First Love’
- David Lodge, ‘Nice Work’
- Kate Atkinson, ‘Behind the Scenes at the Museum’
- Colson Whitehead, ‘The Underground Railroad’
The winner will be the focus of a series of blog posts by students and tutors during welcome week in September. To vote for your book, just complete the survey using SurveyMonkey by midday on Wednesday 25th April.
