The Beyond the Vote Festival is Almost Here!

Thank you to Anne-Marie Evans and Elodie Duché who have been in touch to let us know about ‘Beyond the Vote: A Festival of Women’s Word and Deeds’, which will be taking place across York, 6th-8th July!

We’re writing to you to let you know about the Beyond the Vote: A Festival of Women’s Words and Deeds that we’re organising here at York St John from 6th-8th July. This is in response to the Vote 100 celebrations across the country but we’ll also be taking the opportunity to reflect on some of the challenges facing women today. The Festival is completely inclusive and everyone is welcome.

We have a really fantastic weekend of activities, including craft workshops, talks, and even a pub quiz! Here are a couple of highlights that you might be interested in attending:

And there are lots of other sessions as well! Please do have a look at the Events page, and our  Festival blog for more details, and feel free to share this with your students and any professional networks. And if you’re not already doing so, please do follow us on Twitter @Beyondvotefest.
