Katherine Hughes, the Academic Librarian for English Literature, can offer support in many areas of your study. For example, it is possible to book a tutorial with Katharine to get help with finding and evaluating sources. If you require help in getting the best out of Word when writing essays of dissertations there is a drop-in session on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Fountains. These sessions run by the Digital Training team It is also possible to book a tutorial or visit the drop-in clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12.30-1pm in Fountains.
The Study Development team can provide support with study skills and essay writing. They offer 1-to-1s which can be booked at the Student Information Desk or via studydevelopment@yorksj.ac.uk. They also do a drop-in on Thursdays 11am-12pm in Holgate and are offering a range of workshops this Semester.
