Update: IDAHOBIT; Stammtisch; Stonewall award

Today is International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia

Vice Chancellor Professor Karen Stanton has spoken out against homophobia, biphobia and transphobia. Click here to read her message.

Staff are encouraged to visit the stall in Holgate on Wednesday 18 May, 11am–1pm to find out how you can take a stand against homophobia, biphobia and transphobia, and how you can support mental health and wellbeing (this year’s theme).

Stammtisch

We’re having lunch together on Friday 20 May, join us in the dining room between 12.30-1.15pm. Bring or buy your own! We’ll have a small rainbow flag on the table. All welcome.

We won Yorkshire and the Humber Network Group of the Year!

We are delighted that we’ve been named Yorkshire and the Humber Network Group of the Year by Stonewall at a special awards ceremony held on 16 May 2016. We won the top award in recognition of our work on tackling the topic of the intersection of LGBT and faith identities through debate, stories and celebrations.
