Media Portfolio

During my first year of uni I took part in a music video for a third year student studying media. My role was to choreograph a three minute solo to the music he had produced ready for a day session of filming, creating choreography for someone other than yourself builds the pressure to make sure my movement connects with their ability to create music. Taking part in a music video for a third year student came with the opportunity to experience work at a higher level, viewing how he coped with working independently whilst creating a portfolio to help with his career once leaving university.

I was able to transform this experience and fit it to my teaching techniques as I have taken on board how to consider the different abilities through children and the way movement can be adjusted to fit the understanding of each individual.
