Welcome everyone!  This site has been put together for students holding an offer to join us in Languages and Linguistics for September 2023.  These pages have been prepared for students interested in the following programmes:

We have put together a range of readings and exercises which you can look at to give you a flavour of the course you are thinking of joining, and then, if you decide to take up our offer, you can work on the pre-course tasks over the summer.   All readings are available online, so no need to buy any books yet.  You will need to click through the sections to find the relevant tasks and readings for you.  Further updates will take place over the summer.  If you are joining a Korean or Japanese programme, there will be a questionnaire for you to fill in on your course page, but you should wait until early September to fill this in (links above) so that we have some information about your language level before you arrive.  Please get in touch with us if you have any questions about your programme.  You can find our contact details by clicking on our names below.
